From the San Francisco Chronicle (which, as you might imagine, is brimming with articles and op-eds on World Environment Day) via Eco-Portal, an article on the Locavores, a group of four Northern California women promoting local agriculture as the way to eat sustainably. UPDATE: The Bear has pointed out an article at ZMag that shows how big agriculture is trying to undercut local control of food supply through state legislative action.
