You might consider this guest post on keeping computer energy use down by Tony Sirna a bit ironic, as we’re all sitting around a table with our laptops plugged in. It’s actually especially important for us: since we’re running totally on battery power from the solar panels at this point, efficiency’s key… we don’t want the lights to go out.
