We’re big fans of bicycling here at sustainablog: from the large scale economic and community impact, to smaller efforts that promote cycling and even incorporate it into unlikely activities. So when our friends at WellHome published this infographic yesterday on the present and future of bicycling, we had to share.

  1. This is a great infographic on not only the benefits of cycling but the rise in popularity and infrastructure. It’s also important to consider the infrastructure needed for storage. Multifamily building owners should consider the installation of a bicycle storage room at the ground level or storage closets within the residential units. Additional bike racks are extremely helpful outside the building, providing quick storage as well as publicity that you support biking.
