Join Us to Discuss Greening Your Holidays (While Still Having Fun)

holiday celebration

Today’s Halloween, and that means many of us are thinking about the ghosts and goblins that will be knocking on our doors tonight. It’s also the unofficial start of the winter holiday season: Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, Christmas, and Kwanzaa are just around the corner. Are you ready?

Probably not… and if I asked if you’re ready to host these holidays in a manner consistent with your values, the pit of your stomach might start to clench a bit. We don’t want that, though: rather, we’d like you to enjoy a holiday season that’s also green and healthy.

At our Important Ideas Hangout on Air this week, we’ll be discussing ways to keep the holidays green, healthy… and fun! I’ll be joined by Tanya Sitton of Eat.Drink.Better, Becky Striepe of Crafting a Green World, and other members of the Important Media team, and you’re welcome to join us either as a participant in the discussion, or an audience member.

We start at 3pm Central time at IM’s Google Plus page, and go until we’ve discussed all there is to discuss… we’d love to have you join us!
