Come Hang with sustainablog to Discuss New Technologies Promising Cheap Solar Power

No doubt, solar power’s cleaner than coal or natural gas… but it simply can’t compete in terms of cost. Right? That’s been the conventional wisdom, but two companies – V3Solar and First Solar – are claiming costs well below average electricity rates with two different technologies. Cleantechnica’s taken a look at both (here and here), and, tomorrow, CT’s editor Zachary Shahan will join us at Hangin’ with sustainablog to discuss these developments, and the veracity of the cost claims.

Want to join the discussion? We’re on air tomorrow at 10am central over at Google+, and we’d love to have you participate.
