Monday Night Surfing

I’m off on another short trip tomorrow: covering Chicago’s First Eco-Transportation Show for Treehugger. So I’ll be MIA the next couple of days, and will keep it brief tonight, as I’ve still got to throw some things together. Still, there’s never any rest for a green blogger, so here are a few things that have come across my radar:

• A professor in Brooklyn thinks that urban fish farming might be the answer to overfishing, and even collapse, of wild fish populations.
• A New Urbanist development just north of St. Louis in St. Charles county will feature an organic farm. A step forward, or sprawl disguised in nostalgia?
• They’re displaying solar panels in Southern Sudan.
• The new face of the urban allotment gardener in Great Britain is young and likely female. (via Hugg)
• And it’s Monday…. The Carnival of the Green stays in London for another week.
