As I mentioned in this week’s preview of the Sundance Channel’s The Green, we’re hosting our own little contest here at Green Options Media. “Contest” isn’t the exact right word, though, as we’re not asking you to participate in any games of skill or knowledge. Rather, we’re sweetening the pot for an action you may have already taken: subscribing to GOM’s new biweekly newsletter.

In the spirit of the seemingly endless campaign for the presidency of the U.S., I am going to put a little green twist on a question that was raised on the PBS program, Bill Moyers Journal, the other night. Moyers showed clips of one question that CBS’ Katie Couric had asked of all the candidates she interviewed;

The writing team from all across the Green Options Media network is spending time with family and friends, and we all hope you’re doing the same. While Christmas (and other winter holidays) are most often associated with the giving and receiving of gifts, it’s also a time to reflect on the year past, and to express gratitude. I want to thank the writing team here at sustainablog, and all of our GO network writers, for their commitment and hard work: we couldn’t have done it without them
Of course, we also couldn’t have done it without you, our readers. Thank you for coming by, joining in the conversation, and supporting us throughout the year. Time is precious commodity, and we’re grateful that you’ve spent some of your time with us.
In appreciation, here’s a little something for you… courtesy of our friends at Care2.
