Remember all of those jokes about the government funding studies of cow flatulance? Turns out they might have been on to something. The Straus Family Creamery, “California’s cutting-edge organic dairy,” is creating electricty with a methane digester. Apparently, Dennis Miller made a joke about this on his cable show, but Straus’s savings of about $6000 a month in energy costs might give them the last laugh…
