Detailed and fascinating post I found on Howling at a Waning Moon which originally came from the Society for Conservation Biology. Remember the idea of “natural services” discussed in The Ecology of Commerce, Natural Capitalism, et. al.? A variety of individuals and groups have developed ideas for commodity markets in these services. Financial mumbo-jumbo, or a real possibility of making sustainability a reality?
