The Corporate Was Against Enterprise

I’ve often asked one of my conservative buddies why the right was so against business that went against the agenda of large corporations. Chris at MyDD is bringing up this subject, and uses the example of a plan to provide wireless access in Philadelphia as an example. I think the green business movement ought to address this question head-on. So, why is it that red-blooded conservatives really don’t like ingenuity and innovation unless falls within their narrow notions of “business?” Business doesn’t have to be a no-holds-barred, single-bottom-line endeavor, does it?
