Green Bush? Burning Bush…?

Thanks, Doug, for passing along this rather dumbfounding piece from TomPaine.com. The disconnect and pure hypocrisy of our friends in Washington on matters of energy and environmental policy is breathtaking — why wouldn’t it have crossed anyone’s mind that what’s good for both the White House and the Crawford ranch might be good for the rest of us? Even if the focus is just on saving money and water (as Mrs. Bush points out re: the Western White House), doesn’t that, at some level, translate as a good thing on the larger scale? Does this really take that much imagination???
