A Dirty Little Secret?

Many of the organic brands we know and love are owned by corporate America’s big boys, according to Corpwatch (via Go Organic!). Nick at GO refuses to pass judgment, and I suppose he’s right… While I certainly like the idea of smaller, more independent companies leading the charge here, corporate money could potentially take organics to a whole new level. Of course, on the other hand, there are rumblings of loosening the requirements for Organic certification by the Department of Agriculture — is this the work of the multinationals?
