Generally, I like to keep a positive focus here at sustainablog: there are plenty of other information sources out there on the environmental challenges we face. But, every so often, we can use a reminder of what we’re up against. This infographic nicely sums up one of the potential outcomes of releasing toxins into the environment: cancer.
No doubt, some of us have a genetic predisposition to forms of this disease, and there are causes of it that we’d label “natural.” But the broad view of what’s causing cancer in the US is pretty scary.
