Just came across this press release from Green Energy Resources, a company that has “developed international standards of conformity for fuel grade woodchips.” From looking at their web site, this looks like part of a larger strategy aimed at biomass. I must admit, I’m a little confused about biomass in general, as I’m assuming it has to be burned to produce energy? Wouldn’t this at least produce CO2?
