Yep, today’s the day, and I’m hoping to get out to one of the big events today or tomorrow, though a combination of freelance work, grad. school friends in town and a step-daughter’s birthday (21st birthday at that) may keep it short — oh, and an article I owe Harlan… For those of you who are better at managing your time, there are several cool things going on in the Lou’:
- Earth Day at the Missouri Botanical Gardens: One of my favorite places in town (and, literally, just down the street from me) has Earth Day events from 10-3 today: “Tai chi, greenhouse tours, displays by Earth Share of Missouri organizations.”
- The big St. Louis Earth Day celebration is tomorrow at the Muny grounds in Forest Park. For a complete list of activites, check out their brochure (in PDF).
