I was immediately drawn to Adrienne Maree Brown’s response to “The Death of Environmentalism” on Grist because of the issues Michael Dorsey raised last week about that document. Brown’s response addresses some of the same issues, and further speaks to how the environmental movement can do a much better job of addressing its appeal to people who aren’t white, upper middle class and liberal.
