More and more, the “peak oil” concept is making its way into mainstream media coverage of energy issues. theWatt points us to a story from the AP (reprinted on MSNBC) and a series on the subject in the Toronto Globe and Mail. Where We’re Bound points out that same AP article in USA Today. You definitely don’t get more mainstream than these news sources. I’ve been a bit lax on posting peak oil stories lately because they all seem to be overviews of the concept and the arguments for and against it. The fact that these arguments are appearing so widely, though, demonstrates how effectively proponents of peak oil have been in spreading the word.
