First, forgive me: obviously, not feeling too creative with the headlines today. The Commons Blog tells us<\/a> that “[a]n amendment to extend Daylight Savings in order to save energy made its way past the House Energy and Commerce Committee today.” They link to a FoxNews piece<\/a> (ewww! — I know — I feel dirty) in which the bill’s sponsors claim the extension of daylight savings time for a month on either end will save energy. This seems awfully easy, so I don’t know whether to pat Congress on the back for addressing the obvious, or start to look for corporate contributors that might benefit from such a change…<\/p>\n Technorati tags: daylight savings time<\/a>, energy<\/a> <\/p>\n
