Among the choices these geniuses have made: &#8220;The government chose to allow the sale of a book at Grand Canyon National Park claiming that Noah&#8217;s flood created the fissure just 4,500 years ago, not six million years ago, as scientists believe.&#8221; I&#8217;m all in favor of free expression of religious beliefs, but I also realize there&#8217;s a stark difference between myth (and I&#8217;m using that term in its most neutral sense) and science.
