Hope all of you have a good weekend!<\/p>\n<p>A couple of quick, unrelated items before I go:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Here&#8217;s<a href=\"http:\/\/www.economist.com\/business\/displayStory.cfm?story_id=4149623\"> a recent article<\/a> from The Economist on nuclear power, &#8220;The Shape of Things to Come: Climate change is helping a revival of the nuclear industry, though its economics still look dodgy.&#8221; Again, this seems pretty straightforward and objective, but I&#8217;ll be interested to see your reaction.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>On a lighter note, two of the folks at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.greenfeet.com\/\">Greenfeet.com<\/a> have started podcasting (an idea I&#8217;m still playing with&#8211; it took me a while to find an audio production program I could work with&#8230;).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cMore Hip than Hippie\u201d, an environmentally friendly podcast, is painting the town green. Dori and Val, hosts of the informative yet comical podcast show, said \u201cIf you\u2019re craving a granola chewing, off-grid podcast \u2013 you\u2019re in the wrong place.\u201d Instead, you\u2019ll find straight forward, sometimes humorous advice on how to live an eco-friendly lifestyle. And in case you\u2019re wondering \u2013 yes, they shave.<\/p>\n<p>The premise of the \u201cMore Hip than Hippie\u201d show is to enlighten people on how they can live a more sustainable, earth-friendly life but still enjoy today\u2019s modern conveniences. Topics have included eating green on a budget, fueling cars on Biodiesel (it\u2019s easier than you think), and how to convert your ashes to diamonds to last an eternity \u2013 the ultimate in recycling.<\/p>\n<p>Dori and Val release a new episode of their podcast each week. \u201cWe like our podcasts to be fun, upbeat and informative. At the same time, podcasting allows us the freedom to tackle subjects in our own way \u2013 sometimes a bit unconventional\u201d Their podcast is rated PG, so use your own discretion (or headphones) while listening at work.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>I haven&#8217;t had a chance to listen yet, but am looking forward to it!<\/p>\n<p>Have a great weekend folks!
