Green building involves making the most efficient use of the materials that go into the building, and creating a space that allows for sustainable use of resources needed to live in that home&#8230; so, <a href=\"http:\/\/ecopreneurist.com\/2014\/01\/03\/green-business-ideas-energy-efficiency-auditing\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">energy efficiency<\/a> is important, but so is water use, <a href=\"http:\/\/greenbuildingelements.com\/2012\/11\/02\/urban-air-pollution-indoor-air-guidelines-released\/\">air quality<\/a>, and the relationship of the landscaping to the larger surrounding environment.<\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;re thinking about building green, keep this infographic nearby, as it covers thirteen elements that you&#8217;ll want to consider in the design and construction of your home.
