In either case, or any other, you don&#8217;t want to waste fuel by taking <a href=\"http:\/\/gas2.org\/2014\/10\/05\/finland-high-tech-plan-kill-car\/\" rel=\"nofollow\">an inefficient route<\/a>. And, if you&#8217;re a good greenie, you want to choose the traveling option that has the lightest impact on the planet and atmosphere. New trip planning app <a href=\"http:\/\/skedgo.com\/tripgo\" rel=\"nofollow\">TripGo<\/a> gives you all of that information, in addition the regular map and directions you expect from other apps.<\/p>\n<p>Developed by Australian company\u00a0SkedGo, TripGo looks a lot like any mapping application: it pulls information from your phone&#8217;s GPS and plans a route to an address you type in. That&#8217;s pretty much where the similarities end, though. The app can take up to ten different kinds of transportation &#8211; from walking to biking to driving to riding the bus &#8211; into account, and plan the most efficient route, quickest, and\/or least expensive option for you to get to your destination. As the route pulls in information on transit locations and schedules &#8211; including service announcements &#8211; you can be certain you&#8217;re getting the most up-to-date information available.<\/p>\n<p>Another feature that make TripGo a good choice for your go-to trip planning app is its ability to plan ahead for you. Got meetings, appointments, and other trips already in your phone&#8217;s calendar? TripGo can find those destinations, and\u00a0figure out the route for you&#8230; so you&#8217;re ready to go when the time comes.<\/p>\n<p>Right now, the app is only available in certain locations: pulling in all that data takes connections and effort. So, I wasn&#8217;t actually able to play with the locations I&#8217;d need (St. Louis isn&#8217;t in yet); however, an awful lot of major metropolitan areas in the US, Australia, Great Britain, and Asia are available.
