OK, maybe not all<\/em> the facts, but this new video from the Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries<\/a> provides a lot of information about the impact of paper recycling<\/a>. So, next time you’re tempted with the thought “Hey, it’s just a sheet of paper<\/a> – I’ll just toss it in the trash,” consider some of these statistics presented in the video and an accompanying fact sheet<\/a>:<\/p>\n Lots and lots of environmental and economic benefits, so make sure that sheet of paper, newspaper, magazine, etc., goes in the blue bin at home. This video is one of the first in ISRI’s series on recyclable commodities; they’ve also release one on ferrous metals (any magnetic metals that contain iron… like steel).<\/p>\n Learn anything new from this video?
