Hello?!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/sustainablog.org\/files\/2008\/01\/livegreenchallengelogo.jpg\" alt=\"livegreenchallengelogo.jpg\" align=\"left\" \/>So, I was all ready to pick a new video to feature this week, and went over to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=l-oIvPiI4TY\">Think Green Live Green Challenge page<\/a> on YouTube to enjoy the latest offerings.  Imagine my surprise when I discovered there were none! Did everyone&#8217;s video camera crash at once? Or, were the initial week&#8217;s offerings just too intimidating? C&#8217;mon, people, this is your chance: online video fame awaits you!<\/p>\n<p>Seriously, though, this is a great opportunity to make your voice heard on green living.  If you don&#8217;t think you&#8217;re doing some eco-unique things in your own life (and I&#8217;ll bet you&#8217;re wrong), you&#8217;ve certainly got questions about the barrage of information out there on green living. Juntoventure&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.juntoventure.org\/contest\/\">contest<\/a> stands out in that it&#8217;s asking you not to simply make a video, but to join a conversation&#8230; and we can all do that.  Get those cameras a&#8217;rollin&#8217;&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Also keep in mind that Juntoventure has pulled together a pretty impressive list of prize sponsors for the contest: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sierradesigns.com\/\">Sierra Designs<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.timberland.com\/\">Timberland<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pacoutdoor.com\/\">Pacific Outdoors<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.buckknives.com\/\">Buck Knives<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.burtsbees.com\/\">Burt\u2019s Bees<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mountainsmith.com\/\">Mountainsmith<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.missionplayground.com\/\">Mission Playground<\/a>, and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lonelyplanet.com\/\">Lonely Planet<\/a>.  Certainly you&#8217;d like a shot at some of the swag they&#8217;re offering&#8230;<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Of course, you may just have videographer&#8217;s block: that&#8217;s cool.  My advice: start shooting! You&#8217;re not entering Sundance; you&#8217;re making your voice heard in a forum of eco-conscious and eco-curious folks just like yourself. And, of course, there&#8217;s always <a href=\"http:\/\/greenoptions.com\/tag\/daily-tips\">GO&#8217;s archive of tips<\/a> to get you motivated.<\/p>\n<p>How simple could your video be?  Well, take a look at this one from last week:<\/p>\n<p><code>[kml_flashembed movie=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/vV0bGCFF5aU\" width=\"425\" height=\"350\" wmode=\"transparent\" \/]<\/code><\/p>\n<p>Yep, that&#8217;s it&#8230; and that one works well!
