but didn&#8217;t take a vacation from covering a wide range of topics.<\/p>\n<h3>July 2008<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Chad Crawford<\/strong>, our minister in residence, <a href=\"https:\/\/sustainablog.org\/2008\/07\/30\/this-fall-the-good-book-goes-green-a-review-of-the-green-bible\/\">reviewed <em>The Green Bible<\/em>.<\/a><\/li>\n<li><strong>Raz Godelnik<\/strong> of Eco-Libris <a href=\"https:\/\/sustainablog.org\/2008\/07\/29\/eco-libris-paper-trails-from-trees-to-trash-the-true-cost-of-paper\/\">dug into another book: <em>Paper Trails<\/em>.<\/a><\/li>\n<li><strong>Robin Shreeves<\/strong> reported on <a href=\"https:\/\/sustainablog.org\/2008\/07\/29\/a-small-town-trying-to-solve-big-environmental-problems-with-a-local-bike-share-program\/\">a small town that found an innovative solution to big traffic problems: bike sharing.<\/a><\/li>\n<li><strong>Birgitte Rasine<\/strong> of LUCITA <a href=\"https:\/\/sustainablog.org\/2008\/07\/23\/sos-save-our-shredders\/\">sent up a flare for paper shredders clogged with junk mail.<\/a><\/li>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<li><strong>Simran Sethi<\/strong> and <strong>Sarah Smarsh<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/sustainablog.org\/2008\/07\/20\/look-into-the-light-the-cfl\/\">looked into the light&#8230; the CFL.<\/a><\/li>\n<li><strong>Justin van Kleek<\/strong> explored <a href=\"https:\/\/sustainablog.org\/2008\/07\/05\/the-fine-art-of-foraging\/\">the fine art of foraging<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Josh Hill<\/strong> observed that <a href=\"https:\/\/sustainablog.org\/2008\/07\/17\/college-dorms-getting-greener-and-greener\/\">college dorms are getting greener.<\/a><\/li>\n<li><strong>Caroline Savery<\/strong> shared <a href=\"https:\/\/sustainablog.org\/2008\/07\/15\/hard-lessons-in-sustainable-living-the-tent-trauma\/\">one of the less successful moments of her Sust Enable project: the tent trauma!<\/a><\/li>\n<li><strong>Chris Schille<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/sustainablog.org\/2008\/07\/14\/overpopulation-and-oil-what-the-talking-heads-dont-talk-about\/\">connected the dots between overpopulation and oil consumption.<br \/>\n<\/a><\/li>\n<li><strong>Carol Guylas<\/strong> wondered <a href=\"https:\/\/sustainablog.org\/2008\/07\/03\/will-high-gas-prices-kill-suburban-sprawl\/\">if high gas prices would lead to the decline of suburban sprawl.<\/a><\/li>\n<li><strong>Joh Ivanko<\/strong> offered <a href=\"https:\/\/sustainablog.org\/2008\/07\/02\/managing-high-gas-prices-launch-your-own-green-business-and-deduct-business-miles\/\">one approach to saving money on gas<\/a>: starting a green business, and deducting business mileage.<\/li>\n<li>And <strong>Andy Darrell <\/strong>at Environmental Defense Fund offered another idea: <a href=\"https:\/\/sustainablog.org\/2008\/07\/17\/environmental-defense-fund-gas-prices-too-high-take-the-bus\/\">take the bus to save money on gas.<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Tomorrow: Dog Days, School Days, and Just Plain Hot Days &#8212;
