Along the same line, the Irish government is announcing another round of funding for renewable energy projects in order to reach the EU Renewables Directive of 13% by 2010.  AlJazeera <a href=\"http:\/\/english.aljazeera.net\/NR\/exeres\/8369CE93-53D8-4C62-A7B2-0EF5B023885C.htm\">takes note<\/a> of international developments in harnessing tidal and wave energy.
