I know I&#8217;ve seen an awful lot of television ads from a group called <a href=\"http:\/\/www.balancedenergy.org\/index.asp\">Americans for Balanced Energy Choices<\/a> singing the praises of coal, but of course, this group is sponsored by &#8220;America\u2019s coal-based electricity industry&#8221; (their words). Of course, they neglect to mention the polluting effects of coal even after the introduction of &#8220;clean coal technology.&#8221;  Is it just me, or does that phrase sound like something that might come out of Dubya&#8217;s EPA?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Coal vs. Wind Power: You be the Judge An interesting multimedia presentation from the Union of Concerned Scientists puts this conflict in the proper context regarding the costs of coal-fired&nbsp;[ &hellip;
