Maybe it’s just me, but Thomas Friedman’s idea of a “Geo-Green” approach to the Middle East<\/a> seems awfully simplistic, as Dave Roberts points out in his response to Geoff Debelko’s post<\/a> at Gristmill. Ultimately, this kind of argument might appeal (ironically) to Bush’s neo-conservative advisors as a possible alternative to outright military invasion, but I’m not sure they’re that patient.
