I hope I’m not belaboring the point here, but I’m just fascinated to see this groundswell among evangelical Christians on environmental protection. This radio transcript<\/a> from Australia (which is a bit awkward to read) gives yet another illustration of this: “…in an organised campaign [conservative Christians have] been ringing the White House switchboard protesting at the administration’s opposition to the Kyoto protocol.” <\/p>\n Perhaps my fascination just demonstrates my ignorance, but this really seems like something new. Is it, or are conservation-minded evangelicals just tired of being out-shouted by their more familiar anti-environmental brethren?
