Find out how to get your hands on that bounty...<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>While the <a href=\"https:\/\/sustainablog.org\/oil-spill-response-citizen-make-it-right\/\">Gulf oil spill<\/a> still dominates the green blog space, <a href=\"http:\/\/regator.com\/society_culture\/issues_causes\/environmentalism\/\">Regator<\/a>&#8216;s trends show that we may be broadening out into some of the discussions needed to head off such disasters: <a href=\"http:\/\/regator.com\/whatshot\/Climate+Bill\/\">climate legislation<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/regator.com\/whatshot\/Global+Warming\/\">global warming<\/a> are well up in the rankings.<\/p>\n<p>Rankings and trends aren&#8217;t everything, though&#8230; an awful lot of cool stuff out this week that has little or nothing to do with those hot topics. Here&#8217;s this week&#8217;s round-up of posts that caught our eye&#8230;<br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<h2>Our green blog post picks for the week<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>The tiny, wavy solar house: <\/strong>If you want to catch up on the absolute latest in cutting-edge green building design, you don&#8217;t need to go any farther than <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jetsongreen.com\">Jetson Green<\/a>. The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jetsongreen.com\/2010\/07\/wavy-solar-integrated-studio-house.html\">Lamboo Studio concept<\/a> (developed by Illinois&#8217; <a href=\"http:\/\/lamboo.us\">Lamboo, Inc.<\/a>) not only looks cool, but creates a small footprint through size, materials, and integrated solar panels.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Roads that clean the air:<\/strong> Jerry James Stone at <a href=\"http:\/\/greenopolis.com\">Greenopolis<\/a> came across this very cool development by researchers at the Eindhoven University of Technology in the Netherlands &#8212; a concrete that actually <a href=\"http:\/\/greenopolis.com\/goblog\/jerryjamesstone\/scientists-make-air-purifying-cement-cuts-emissions-45\">cleans up nitrogen oxide emissions from cars<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Deep walkability:<\/strong> We all love to discuss urban development that focuses on walking and biking vs driving&#8230; Alex Steffan at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.worldchanging.com\">WorldChanging<\/a> digs deeper into this topic, and questions some of the assumptions we&#8217;ve made about what &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.worldchanging.com\/archives\/010931.html\">walkability<\/a>&#8221; actually means.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Add a row to your garden&#8230; for others:<\/strong> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thegoodhuman.com\">The Good Human<\/a> takes note of the long-running &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.thegoodhuman.com\/2010\/07\/07\/plant-an-extra-row-in-your-garden-for-the-needy-in-your-community\/\">Plant a Row for the Hungry<\/a>&#8221; campaign by the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gardenwriters.org\/gwa.php?p=par\/index.html\">Garden Writers of America<\/a>. Since 1995, the organization has encouraged gardeners to add a row of plants for donation to local organizations that feed the hungry.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Fruit foraging:<\/strong> Ever see fruit going to waste on trees in your neighborhood?
