GenGreenLife, National Geographic Green Guide and EVO.com partner to form new online portal to green products and services

Looking for a carpet cleaner that doesn’t use all kinds of dangerous high-VOC cleaning products? Have a hunkering for some tofurkey slices but are out of town and away from your favorite natural foods grocer? If you are searching for either of these or any other green and environmentally-conscious products and services, I have a tip for you.

My friends at Fort Collins, CO-based GenGreen have joined up with the National Geographic Green Guide and EVO.com to form a green online destination where consumers can find information on green products and lifestyle tips, make eco-conscious purchases and learn about local eco-friendly businesses.

GenGreen’s local green directories already have an impressive collection of 35,000 green business listings, 800 green events and 400 green collar jobs listed in over 5000 cities and all fifty states.

”Throughout the process of building GenGreen, it has always been our mission to get this valuable information in as many hands as possible,” said Charisse McAuliffe, Founder and CEO of GenGreen. β€œThe sharing of content between GenGreen and National Geographic Green Guide is enhancing both of our user’s experiences to a level never seen before.”

To check out GenGreen’s offerings and their newly rebuilt website with a host of social and interactive features you can still point your browser directly there, but now you can also get there from the Green Guide page by just clicking on the “Local” tab.
