Kerry’s High-Wattage Energy Plan

Though I was initially a Howard Dean supporter, I always knew that John Kerry had the strongest environmental record of any of the Democratic candidates. This story from BusinessWeek (via Howling) provides some details on Kerry’s plan for US energy independence, and it’s the most ambitious energy plan I’ve seen from a politician. While I wish the focus on coal were less, I’m impressed by Kerry’s vision for a radical change in US energy policy.
